I received a call from my guy at EuroMotorcars of Bethesda, MD on Friday to update me on the status of my car. It is currently in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean and will be docking in Baltimore in about a week. On the 24th of May (about 10 days or so after taking possession) I will be making a 700 mile road trip from Washington, DC to Chicago in one straight shot (around 12 hours of driving time). As sort of a project I will be posting a thorough road trip review complete with photos, specs, fuel consumption numbers, etc. So ... STAY TUNED!

I've heard that driving a brand new car (let alone a performance one) isn't good for the engine/transmission. Its supposedly not good to let the engine just run at a fairly constant speed. Just my $.02

Just change gears every now and then while cruising, observing the break-in max speed and rev limits.
