It's a wealth of knowledge in this site.
We picked her up last night, a CPO 2010 C63. All the bells and whistles, minus the Performance Package and the LSD.
Already fitted HRE 563C, that I got for the C300 4matic we traded in.
Looking forward to joining in the fun!

Thanks guys, unfortunately the photos do not display my photographic skills. Rather, I am very fortunate to have friends who are excellent photographers.
The colour is Albandite Grey.. new with the facelift models apparently. Has anyone else seen one around? Even a google search doesn't reveal much and suggests an auto correct to alabandine grey (which is kind of similar??). But as seen on spec sheet it isn't alabandine according to Merc.

In Canada, I could buy a Porsche 911 Turbo or a GT3 RS for that kind of money. I could buy a C63 loaded and a GL550 for the wife with enough left over for a vacation to visit you in Australia with my entire the family!!

Startprice in germany (without extra options) = 71.000 € (94.000 $)
A fully loaded C63 cost about = 115.000 € (150.000 $)
In australia, the have to pay about 35.000 € or 46.000 $ more for the same car.
For comparison the startprice in the states (without extra optins) = 62.000 $ (46.000 €)
Don't know why you find this normal
I paid for my used C63 more than a new one would cost in the states
