No I have had it for 2 years now. It has always been in a climate controlled environment and never even washed with water. When I got it it had 2003 miles on it. It now has about 2700 miles. The only changes I have made are the clear side markers, wheel spacers, and new tires.
Finished my first project since I got the C63 back in February, just wanted to add another option to the catch cans for the M156.
I've ran Radium parts on my BMW and always found their stuff to be top shelf. I bought their universal can along with some connections hardware that looks to be a clone of the weistec can.
I used the stock connector from the PCV for the crank case with 3/4” hose to the can. From the intake manifold where the PCV usually goes I used the "weistec" 10AN connector to a straight barb and ran that to a 90barb to get me around the dip stick. From there I ran the "weistec" PCV adapter and hooked the PCV next to the dipstick.
To me this gives 2 benefits. 1-Easy access for future PCV changes. 2-PCV retains near stock location near the intake manifold. Other thing I had to do was buy some 90 degree aluminum bar stock to make a bracket.
I’m very happy with how it turned out. Accessing the can is super easy to empty out and Radium just make damn good looking hardware. All in all probably $400 total (for the extra 3/4” AN10 fittings and 3/4” hose, and aluminum stock)
PCV on the official weistec can is far downstream of the intake manifold.
Around 78,800 miles as a daily driver, and I love it more every time I get behind the wheel. So very lucky.
I go out for night drives when I need to mentally regroup. This car is perfect for that. (9.28.25)
I admire you for dailying a black series! It motivates me to drive my 507 daily without worrying about miles and just enjoy every moment with this car. Sweet ride brother
