Dark Anthracite Satin Finish Multi Spokes
So after a few changes in ideas as mentioned in the other thread, decided to go with a diamond cut face, spoke, rim and the inner sections done in a dark anthracite, this was finished with a satin lacquer, to give it a less shiny effect.
Just needs the KW's now
Pretty happy with the finish and colour, I like the overall look of the std multi spokes, and wanted it to be subtly different, thought about black with polished lip, anthracite all over with polished lip ( was 2nd choice ) etc but think it it sets it off well against the black
Few iPhone pics

Just my opinion, but to me the whole beauty of the multispokes is in the very thin silver spokes.
This effect is created by two-tone painting/polishing - and the darker paint goes around the edges of the spokes onto the face.
Your new paint scheme made the spokes wider/bigger, and this effect was lost.
I hope you get what I mean.

The color combo looks great Darren, but I have one small criticism.

I'm going to get the V3s on in the next couple of months and then go carbon int (will let you know when ;-)) once it's sitting lower I can decide if I keep them as or change.
I'm very happy with combo and effect in the flesh, does look better in real life than pics, although am now thinking I might end up just buying a second set anyway!
Of topic and will start a new thread for it, but I'm booking this up in the next couple of months with some UK CSL guys, I'm still moderator on the CSL register, yourself and Dome should get on it when we do and we can put the face to the name and have some sideways fun !!
345 Euros incl lunch.
Mecedes Benz testing facility, ATP Papenburg. Track kept wet so tyre wear and stress on the car is low. Gravel traps all round so low risk if you come off.

It's around a 5 hour drive from Calais for me a section of it on de-restricted autobahns
Normally stay here: http://www.hotel-engeln.de/ but might try something different this time.

I think the new paint scheme is too much like OEM. I don't see much difference besides they look new. Was the wheels rashed or damaged that's why u refinished them?

Yep spot on, when I collected the car last July they were quite bad, so supplying dealer said when I was ready to get them done he would pay, so just basically getting them back to how they should of been and brand new, so thought I would subtly change them and darken the original colour.

I think it looks great, much better than the gray background. I wasn't a fan of the silver OEM but with the black background, I just sets it off nice....great job.
