Are those the new Vossens? Looks good, but a bit too big. Do they offer them in 19's?

Have to go 20s with Vossen. I had an email exchange with Vossen about fitting their one of their 19s and and they responded advsing as to brake caliper clearance issues - they only have 20" for the C63. Personally I think 19 is the max for the C63 so I did no buy Vossen.

Quote: A nice drive
This picture is excellent. I was actually thinking, it is such a great car as a daily driver or weekend stress reliever. I am so happy and content with 2010 that it just didn't make sense to spend $90K on a 507 or $120K on a BS when its the same engine. I actually MUCH prefer the from on the pre-facelift more. I actually recently bought the one ROW air box I needed because my car came from factory with the drivers side ROW only. After doing the switch on the air box o having both ROW air boxes, mind you only ONE air box with probably just an inch more of air, the car sounds much throatier and the accelerations are faster and louder. It's such a recognizable difference. Very surprised how just a little more air can make a difference.

I am installing new OEM multispokes on my car on michelin PSS tires this week.
Did these mods recently:

Smoke side markers(finally)
Single bar front grill
FULL CF mirrors from Germany

These small mods make the car look complete. As it should of came from factory. One thing I know is that if you plan to make small cosmetics mods, you need to go nice or forget it all together because poorly made crap will stick out like a sore thumb and will last a month.

Will post pics soon.

Good infos!! 20's looks good but riding on 25 series tires is tricky.

Haha yes, check this out, Sam is actually sending me replacement multispokes!!!! Yes he is a man of his word, BUT A YEAR LATER?!! I am tracking them now...Crazy, crazy...

Yeah been modding some slight things. I will have the multispokes mounted on this weekend and will post some pics just for fun.

I got the mirror from CSK Performance in England and they are made by Schatz in Germany. They are the company thats makes the for Benz. Best CF products I have ever seen. Such nice craftsmanship. I can't say much for CSK Performance: HORRIBLE customer service and attitude.

Congrats on the new wheels and mods

Just to clarify - Schatz is not the manufacuter of OEM MB CF parts.
OEM CF mirror covers are made by 3C-Carbon Composite Company.
I would love to see the CKS mirrors - post pics when you can.

Quote: That's going to be quite some drop in the front with that front lip, at least for a static setup.
Can't you get custom springs made? (I don't know if it's possible).

You should've gone with BC Racing coilovers - their adjustment goes all the way down to the ground.

To be honest I wasn't aware BC made a kit for our cars...dang it lol. I may need to make the switch then and sell my H&R's. Hmmm.....

Thanks
I agree a subtle quality mod is better than blinging it up
The oem multispokes are an amazing wheel and the ONLY ones I'd consider

And oem parts when you can
Fit & quality

The car has a balanced combination of quality and aggressivness
You car sounds about perfect imho

Thanks guys, will post pics in detail this weekend.

Olszowa, are you sure? Have you ever heard of Schatz? Have you ever seen and compared Schatz to OEM? From what I know, they also manufacture OEM parts for Benz, Ferrari and Maserati. I have never seen a better made CF part before. It had the turn signal OEM integrated in. The weave is immaculate....Let me know your info on them. Thanks.

Quote: Hey Everyone, thought I'd share some pics of my new setup for my C63. I posted up pics of my E55 and X5M with Rennen Wheels and some were curious on what my plans were on my C63. Finally got it to where I somewhat wanted l:

Forgestar CFV5 (Wheels are pretty light)
Finish: Textured Black Powdercoat
Pirelli PZero Silvers
19x8.5 +40 235/35R19 20Ibs w/o tires
19x10.0 +52 275/30R19 20.8Ibs w/o tires

Eurocharged V4 Tune
ROW Intake boxes w/KNs (no issues with oil and sensors)
Making my own Long Tubes - can't justify 3k for metal pipes and flanges lol
Coilovers
Arkym Style Carbon Fiber front Lip
Carbon Fiber rear Diffuser

This has to be my favorite c63

simple but mean

Here is a pic of an OEM CF mirrors:

I see
In looking at the Schatz mirrors compared to the 3C carbon you posted, they look virtually identical. Yes, the weave is absolutely perfect and the mirrors are beautifully made with thick CF, dark black, and the inside components are exact.
