Diamond White C63 coupe + PP
It is a cumulative of 3 things and it is also all about good light
1. Good Camera, a steady tripod and release cable for absolutely sharp shot. The Sony Carl Zeiss 55mm F1.8 lens is an awesome lens as well
2. Taking the photo just a few minutes before sunrise (in my case 6.30am) and the sun rising from behind me. Alternatively taking photos just before sunset is another good time. These are the only good times to achieve the popping out effect.
3. Spending time processing the photo.
I used the 36.4mp Sony 7r which has fantastic dynamic range. Blacks and whites look good as this combination is always very difficult to capture. Being early morning light it gives the golden look on parts of the car and shows up the pearlversant texture of the paint hence making the car popping out.
Processing skills is also very important. Photography is also my passion and I spend a lot of time processing the photo.

Well, you do a fantastic job.
I have a DSLR too, and took some pics of my car (they are on the previous page). I dont know anything about photography though. And not much about Photoshop.

In the middle shot I actually stopped the car in the causeway in the no stopping zone, got out of the car, setup my tripod to take the shot. I was so nervous about it. Luckily it was 6.30am and not many cars around

Photos of the Week: C63 on an a7R
The car world is ever-changing, and each year there's something new, but here at "Photos of the Week" that goes double for camera equipment as well. This week, these beautiful shots popped up in a post from user pcho (a.k.a. Perry), using his new Sony a7R camera.
For those unfamiliar, yet interested, Sony released a new line of mirrorless DSLR cameras a few months back, and they're kicking up quite the stir in the photography realm.
