I didn't pick your wheels for 18", suppose the black hides them a little.
How come you went with a 235/35 series on front (normally 235/40 series).
I'm running a 10mm hub spacer with ET48 on my 18x8.5" (so gives ET38) and I'm going 245/40 next time.
You should be able to fit 275/35 on rear with std suspension even on 10" rim.
I'm running 275 on 18x9" with ET50 so my tire shoulder is similar distance to the fender as yours.
And you're right, its 235-40 haha, so many numbers juggling in the old noggin.
And good to know on the rear 275-35, that'll be one to try.
Yes funny I've always got to proof read before posting.
To check tire clearance I jack up one and then place a block under 1 wheel lower the car down.
The wheel on the block is then pushed up into the wheel well giving you and idea whether a particular size might fit.
I did this with my rears and a 10mm spacer to see if a 9-9.5" ET45 275 would fit.
Although the tire rotated there was only a match stick in it so would go with a 265 if I do go those wheel specs.
I'm loving the car so far, I've put 4,000 kms on it in the last 5 weeks so I've got a good idea of how good shape its in. Amazingly I'm averaging about 23 mpg on the highway which is better than I expected and about 16mpg around town. I've done some maintenance like oil change, tranny flush/change, new tires, switched out air filters for AFE filters, and changed out the emblems on the wheels and hood. I want to get a rear camber adj bolt kit for it so I'm not wearing down the inner edges of my rear tires and I've been told that K-Mac is the place to get them.
I've done a few 1/4 mile runs on an isolated road with a few friends cars, - 2014 Mustang GT, & 2018 Kia Stinger GT, - and by handheld stopwatch ran a best of 12.95 and speedo showing 190 kph so I'm happy with that, plus I beat the Stinger and tied the Mustang GT!

Are the wheels original black series ?
They look like later AMG GT wheels.
Thanks man.
Yeah, they are the OEM Black Series wheels. I did 12mm rear spacer and 15mm front spacer with stud conversion. Im going to put the car up on the lift this weekend to change the oil and I'll lower the suspension a little bit to get rid of the gap..... we will see how it goes.
long time lurker.....just traded my 13' evo X for this 13' AMG coupe with P31, LSD, lighting package, lane track, keyless go, multimedia package
the after market stuff. PO installed Akrapovic full exhaust w/ carbon tips. Metallic matte wrap over the OEM black pain, stance 19" rims. Not sure the offset until I take them off to look.
I'm still trying to figure out who makes the front CF splitter and the rear CF defuser. I'd like to get them covered on my insurance plan. The only ones I find don't have the air flow cutout above the fins

Congrats, very nice coupe. You can try RW Carbon for the CF fiber parts you are looking for.

I sold my C63 this weekend and picked up a 718 GT4. Last picture of the C63 and picture of the new car. Honestly it was hard to sell the C63 and still sort of sad about it. I couldn't justify having three cars and not being able to drive them all regularly. I always wanted a Porsche to see what they were all about so we'll see how that goes. Driven about 50 miles in the new car and it's really different. Going to miss the V8 grunt, hooligan character of the C63 and how it just ate up the miles on long highway trips and backroads. Maybe I'll find another one down the line if I find more garage space haha.
Appreciate all the great members here, interesting builds, cool pictures, posts etc. Definitely going to keep lurking here and see what you all do with your cars in the future!

Beautiful GT4, they're great cars! What do you plan to do with her?
Nice to see another wagon/estate owner.
It looks in great condition on the outside.
Hope you have better roads than I have here in Sydney Australia.
I had the same wheels on mine but 3 wheels developed cracks on the inner rim.
Changed them out for 18's for a better ride but have now fitted forged w205 C63s 19" wheels.
Hi and thx! It is in overal good condition but def needs some work here and there, scratches, cracked sideskirt and the chroom bar inside the headlight is weared down (so weird) but I am very happy with the car, Looks mean and the performance is insane. Roads over here are not that good realy but not that bad either, it is indeed a harsher ride with the 19 inch wheels but I had a Lotus s2 before also so compared to that this AMG is a sweet ride.
