Speedometer in MPH

Did anyone else notice that our US speedometers go from 0-120 in increments of 10 and then it just to increments of 20? Pretty cool...

lol thats pretty weird!!

the ratio at which the speedometer moves would have to slow down past 120 i guess

anyways, awesome pic...i always wanted to see what it looks like at night

BTW, ive read somewhere that when its manual, and to RPM go up to the point where the gears need to change, the thing lights up in RED!!

did you see anything like that??

is that only in M mode??

possible to catch a picture???

it would be too cool is, as the RPMs go higher, the red gets brighter and brighter to indicate that you need to shift!!

AWESOME!!

I read something about that as well, but I wasn't sure where. I haven't broken in the engine yet as I've been driving in C mode, but I will definitely try it out in M mode and see if the speedometer turns red once I hit 1000 miles.

Super - oh okay, I didn't know UK was MPH... nice...

Yes. That's because most cars have 80 at the halfway mark, since that is the fastest most people go. Honestly, I personally would prefer 100 being in center, but most people would see the 80 mark where the 60 mark usually is and would probably be tempted to speed.

and EUR uses km/h not mp/h.
