I heard a local guy ran a 12.3@116 in a stock C63 AMG at E-town in the great air of NJ at a sea level track.
One magazine actually ran 12.3@114 on stock tires and a 0-60 in 4.1.
Most magazines are at 12.5@113+
I feel a good set of DRs should allow a 0.2 advantage in the 60', from a 2.0 to a 1.8.
0.2 in the 60' translates to 0.4 in the 1/4.
12.3 minus 0.4 = 11.9
ATCO is about 0.1 faster than E-town for some reason, so....
Given the possibility of a 0.5 second swing with DRs, I do believe somebody will run 11.9s in a C63 on DRs on a cool fall day.
That's the plan....

Good luck on achieving those numbers....that is an area reserved for modded E55's,65's,600's etc.
If it was that easy it would have been done already with the other 63 models

There is a member here with a very nicely done CLS63 with a 150hp wet nitrous system....his best run was 11.8x@117mph.

Guys, I am new to these cars.
Give me time to learn, I am still overly enthusuastic about my new beast.
My 450hp Viper GTS weighed 3300lbs and pulled off 11.67@120.56 on a 1.68 60' and 11.8@120.5 on a 1.8 60' with me granny shifting it.
That was on Kumho R compunds.
My 3800lb 492rwhp 03 Cobra on a soft 1.85 launch pulled off a 11.84@120.57 with me granny shifting on BFG DRs.
My 3025lb 400hp C6 manual tranny ran a 12.55@115.85 on a 2.02 60' and my 2005 C6 Vert automatic ran a 12.57@110.67 on a 1.92 60'.
They are my most recent dragstrip experiences.
From the feel of it this car should easily cut a 1.8 60' with traction.
Weighing 500lbs more than the Viper with similar hp and torque #s it equates to 12.3@115 in the 1/4 in similar great NJ weather.
I truly believe with another 50 horsepower this car should pull off 11s, maybe not low-mid 11s, but solid high 11s at or near 120mph, probably more in the 118-119 range.
Even if this car was only a 13.0 car, I'd still love it or the sheer sound of it.
It truly entertains me and makes me feel like I am driving a Muscle Car

I know you are new to these cars, thats why I'm taking the time to explain it's not as easy as one would think to run an 11sec 1/4 mi.
After making 70+passes down a prepped track,I still find it extremely challenging to get below a 1.8 60'......it's not as simple as loading the converter&mashing the gas.
It's also not as easy to get the 7G trans to shift at redline in 1st gear so that has alot to do with a good pass too..
If your in the NY/NJ area your more then welcome to join us at out next track rental

I'd like to come to a track rental, I don't know if I'll run it, but I'd like to watch some similar cars run.
My last few times at the track I've seen some bad stuff happen, including a problem in my own personal car at 90mph at midtrack, luckily I was able to keep the car straight when the tranny decided to lock up.
It just makes me think my luck is running out and I don't want to wreck a car I owe big bucks on.

I expected easy 12s and the extra power made car my car alot harder to launch giving my 60' a tough time in several passes like 20+ so its a process of pactice upon practice to try and try again to get a great 60'. Easier said then done.
