How to get the best out of burnouts and others?

Sup all,

Tonight I went and tried to do some burnouts after having waited more than 1k miles to see what the C63 has in her. To my surpirse it would not burnout with the ESP Off as it did easily the first time I had tried it the day before. Now I do not know much about AMGs or racing in general but I checked everything, the tires, the road, and just looked like an idiot infront of all these ppl who were spectating.

In the end I did something that I didn't like doing. I put it in "M", "ESP-OFF", & in "1st gear". I put one foot on the brake the other on the gas and she started to look like the car from the C63 commercial spinning its wheels. lol

Evidentally doing so will come back to haunt me if I do it a bit much but I don't think I have seen what it can really do just yet.

Anyway my question to you all is, why did it not want to perform as it did before? What woudl be your thoughts? Why doesn't the C63 allow you to put it in 2nd while its at a hault? Could it be the pavement of the street that didn't allow the wheels to spin? Naaah! haha

Also what are some tips for a straight line race that you guys could share with me and others? How do you get the most amount of screeching, when wnated, out of the C63?

And last but not least how can you start off quickly, other then putting your foot to the pedal and yeeehawing your way down the street? lol

Thanks!

there's a saying in some cases where if you have to ask you probably shouldn't do it.
no offense, but maybe the car was trying to protect you from wrapping yourself around a pole in front of a crowd.

Isnt throttle reset a series of turning key and tapping gas pedal or something, what if you were to disconnect the battery, would the car not reset itself? Dont know, just asking.

Skycap--

Just make sure you didn't have your A/C on. If the air is off, you should burnout like a champ

Put the car in neutral, bounce it off the rev limiter, then drop it in to drive. That should be one hell of a burn out, in more ways that one.

AMG
Put in in Neutral (N) then rev it to 6.000 rpms then Put it in Rocked Launch mode (R). That should do it for the spectators.

I hate to sound like an old man- which I assure you I am not, however, I cant seem to fathom/comprehend why the f**k you want to do burnouts... I think you've been watching to many movies mate. Its really not that good for the car, it makes you look cheap anyway and I doubt it impresses anyone but children and it doesnt do the wheels/transmission any good either.

Ofcourse; whatever floats your boat but personally I would never actively pursue trying to do burnouts in my 63. And if you want to see what shes capable of stop this madness lol and just drive your car... its a c63 amg and it should'nt have to prove anything. I love driving it, I drive it as much as I can and use any excuse to get behing the wheel and she puts a smile on my face everytime I get in the seat and turn it on. My girlfriend is beginning to become jealous due to all the attention I give to my car lol.

Anyway sorry, getting emotional lol... I looove this car!!!! Didnt mean to go on and on but yeh just enjoy your car its SICK. No need to melt your tires and smoke up all the roads. But its your car and you have all the right in the world to do whatever you fancy.

Do some burn outs, then when you get tired of that you can cut off the mufflers and add some glass packs. After that add some hydraulics and some 22" spinners.

Nothing wrong with burning a bit of rubber lol but when he says things like "how do you get the most amount of screeching"... Who wants to hear screeching?? Find a straight bit of road with no cars and slam your accelerator and thats that- instant thunder

20+ to list......
Doing a burnout in the C63 is quite embarassing, because the car only lays one strip, and that shows people you have an open diff. I am going to save my wow factor burn outs for my race cars.

what works for me

What works for me in my old-school C55 is to get a bottle of clorox and pour it on the rear tires and let it set for about 15 seconds.

Then I set them on fire with a lighter and power brake for about 45 seconds.

Afterwards, I am left with a set of rims on the road and a whole lot of smoke.

After reading this post I thought damn so that's what the R is for! Of course its Rocket gear. So I jumped into my car revved it to the max slammed it into Rocket gear and blew right through my neighbors fence! But you know what, even though there was massive damage to both my car and the neighbors property and, oh yeah his dog (nice little guy but feeling abit deflated now), I screeched the sh*t out of my tires! You want screech use the Rocket gear; guaranteed to work 1 time out of 10!!!
