as far as where to buy oil (for people not in Texas) is worth it
http://store.parkplacestores-mb.com/mo1syoil0.html
9.50 shipping per order to your door (6.79/quart)0w40
invest in an oil extractor, add a oil fiter and you'll be kicking yourself for ever paying $100 for "free coffee" at the stealer
How true! Plus, you can get it done one evening after work or on the weekend, no waiting for the dealer's availability.

No thanks, you can keep your M3, its ugly. All the free oil changes in the world would never convert me to a souped up looking 3 series.

It all comes out in the wash>>>>.I have and do own both MB and BMW and its a pretty level playing field when it comes to service. I maintain the same relationship with the BMW shop guys as I do with MB and its dead even over 4 years

Don't you agree Nick?? You have both too....no??

Completely agree with you Barry, I have the 07 530i and yes the oil changes are included, awesome service program, nothing at all to pay for the three year lease, one of the most important reasons i got this car for my wife, zero to pay, even wear and tear items are covered. The relationship with all shop guys for all my cars, even my 2008 Ram are on my christmas shopping list, the shop people will make it or break it for owning another one of their cars in the future.

It also gives you the opportunity to keep in touch with the shop foreman and drop off something for the front line guys . Starbucks in winter and Ice Caps in summer. Keeps everyone happy and on a first name basis. That goes a long long way to having you car really looked after and always having a MB loaner on hand whenever you need it. First line demo's too. Well worth the effort

As well, as part of my purchase deal with my dealer there are 2 cases of 0-40, Mobile 1 in the trunk on delivery. I am down to my last liter from the C55. The 63 better get here soon....
+1 on North and 1st AMG. On ALL your comments. I personaly could care less how people service there cars. I used to change my oil and breaks on my 1993 Mazda B200. But were talking about an AMG motor that you guys are all so proud to own. And im sure when you go to sell it some day and the buyer ask's is it fully serviced by the dealer? I wonder what you will say. If some one told me they did it them self, sure bro i'll be right back with the money. Like I said its your car and may only be your car in the future.
Cus I would buy my pre-owned C63 from 1st AMG or North 44.... Oh ya and Glock Guru cus he seems to have changed his MINE!! Just buggin ya Glock I know you ment mind.

First oil change here in the UK is as per ASSYT on dash [Last message given was Next Service A in 300 days]

Dont think there is a first oil change option in Europe

weird how we all drive the same car, and service programs, oil changes, and things like that vary by location

2500mls

Just phoned my local MB dealer & asked about the 1500kms service , no such thing in Europe? So I have booked my self & brothers in for next week for oil change only.Cost of mobil 1 from MB dealer is $31.00 per litre Sod that off to costco where it is $40.00 per litre.

Probably a good thing to do as both cars have required top up of oil.

I wonder what the labour charge will be , keep you posted!

I'm more of an Islay drinker than a Speyside or Highland fan, but can't you get a decent malt for that price?

Appoligies meant 4.5litres !
Actually our own home grown Malt whisky is cheaper to purchase in other countries due to the 70% tax our GOVT put on it.:

Steel Gray 09' C63 AMG
By the way, Wal-Mart sells Mobile One 0-W40 (European Formula M1 calls it) for $5.97 per. qt. Pick up a filter at the dealer, oil from WM and there you go.
