Pretty interesting. I thought the R8 would blow the E63 wagon away. especially cause everyone says it has sick acceleration.
Guess the C63 would be pretty close to an R8 on the straights.
I think the CLK63 BS would be a great matchup on the track.
Fastest R8 time on the nurburgring is 7:55min.

i would still take the R8 over ANY benz
and not for performance, but for looks alone
i would however give some second thoughts to the SL black series
but at the 300k price tag....i still think id take the R8

lol ya I saw that somewhere else before.....
The R8 is a good looking car but still an Audi and frankly for the amount they charge on it its not worth it. Its supposed to be for 115K or so but after the "PRICE ADJUSTMENT" it can be as much as 200K which for an R8, yet let alone an Audi is ridiculous, in my opinion.

I love the looks of the R8 too. It's the best design audi has for a sportscar. I would buy one too just for the looks and awesome handling on the twisties. Too much for me though...
I rather get the daily driver, R8 killer, E63 for almost half the price.
