The drivability and start up are exactly the same as stock. Idle is also unchanged. The car is running great and more how I expected it to run from the factory. I haven't noticed a mileage change as I don't drive the car everyday. I know other people are hijacking my thread about my Kleemann tune experience but I can tell you with 100% certainty that you will not regret the Kleemann tune that comes from a very professional organization.

On a separate note, I'd be surprised (indeed amazed) to see a gain of 90lbft of torque on a 55bhp gain. Since power is a function of torque * rpm intersecting at 5252rpm, then if my arithmetic is correct, and max power is at 6800rpm then torque would be increased by 5252/6800 * 55bhp .. which is 42lb/ft.
But numbers aside, your computation doesn't make much sense. It's true that because of the units involved, horsepower and torque curves will interesect at 5252 RPM if horsepower and ft-lbs happen to be plotted at the same scale. This is just an artifact of the scaling. But this doesn't say anything about an engines torque curve. Furthermore, max power will normally be at a higher RPM than max torque because the falloff in torque above the peak will be slower than the increase in RPMs for a while and power is torque times RPMs.
All of which means that without seeing the torque curve it's impossible to predict max torque's value or position from what we have. 55 ft-lbs is as good a guess as any, but it's just a guess.
From the curves published, it looks like the torque curve has been extended linearly, which does sound like MB artificially limited it. Very promising.

PM me and I'll explain the very simple process. You're going to love this upgrade. This car is a total blast to drive now over stock. The difference is really amazing.

Totally agree i would love to see real world results rather than slips of paper and graphs that dont really mean much to me.
Please if any of you guys are near this tuned C63 lets get a video or comparison.

Any Houston area C63 AMG owners with tuned ECUs?
I bought my C63 AMG Saturday and was hoping to upgrade the ECU and potentially mod the car a little. If there is someone with the ECU or other performance upgrades available this weekend I would appreciate the opportunity to meet with them and see how their cars perform.
Please contact me ASAP, Thanks

You may have seen my post already on my Kleemann upgrades:

Each tuner has strengths and weaknesses. Kleemann was the best fit for me. See also what Evosport offers, among others.

Yes I read the post and it was helpful. For the money it seems that Kleemann does have the best bang for the buck.
Just curious how you liked the Lotus. I always loved those cars, but after having my NSX for 8 years the ingress/egress was wearing me out on a daily basis. But trying to get in and out of the Esprit was worse, I literally had to pull my leg into the car for entry.

I loved that there was no room for my left foot--it had to be tucked under the clutch. And if any of my cars felt like a cockpit of a fighter jet, it was the Lotus. The rattle and roar of the V8 behind my head was intense and the sound of the twin turbos spooling was gripping.
I hated the maintenance. Big $$ maintenance car. Love that my modded C63 is as fast (or likely faster), has 4 doors (to haul my kids), and costs much less to maintain (even post warranty).
Of all the cars on my list, I like the 996 the least.

Kleemann is well worth it!
I also opted to go Kleemann on my C63 with about 1200 miles on the clock. IT IS AMAZING. This is the only upgrade I plan on doing, it was well worth it. Also, Cory is the man. I flooded his email box with a million dumb questions and got a fast detailed answer every time. Very easy mod. My car was out of operating from 4pm on a Tuesday and back driving the hell out of it at 11am on Thursday. DO THIS MOD you wont regret it. My only regret is not enough time to drive it!

i have a feeling my tuner uses the same software, have a look at my dyno graph to see the similarities
in hp terms
went in with 365rwhp
went out with 435 rwhp
peak power means little, but the difference is noticable. The only issue i had was the throttle squish (maybe not correct term?) eg. revs would get stuck at anything below 2000rpm. But i went back to my tuner and a few minutes later it was all fixed and now its all good. going to track soon will post my results

the difference, behaves just the same as factory but faster, **** review i know but i havent raced anything to know the difference. The track times should tell the story. I hardly drive the car, its more a weekend car for me.
