Yes..My car has been in there 2x..and a 3rd time today..They changed the purge valves and reset ecu..came back on today..HUGE issue I am still trying to fix. ...I have had the car for 4 weeks..been in dealer for 2.

All,
If you have a defective purge valve problem, please have your Dealership contact Dan Sexton (Service Manager) at MB of Escondido. He will know what to tell them.
I had the exact same problem with the purge valve, but it turns out its not the valve, but a problem with the ECU. A part will need to be ordered from Germany to fix this.
I'm back on the road now for 10 days and no more problems and no more CEL's. That is after 4 CEL lights in 2 weeks of first owning the car.

When the car is running there is no problem. So what they did is change out the part that controls the emissions test, and so far so good.
Also, I got a call today that I will get a check for $4000 for my troubles with the car. Not bad.
PS. How are your troubles with the HRE's coming along? I can't wait for pics with the wheels fixed.

Basically I made a big fuss when the CEL came on for the 3rd time. I contacted MB of USA directly, and said that I don't want the car anymore, I will get a lawyer, it's a lemon, etc...
After that I got to deal with the Service MANGER Dan, instead of just the regular service yahoos. He was very understanding and promised me he would get things right. Needless to say the car works great now and I'll be getting my check

I just dropped off my car today for the 4th time coz of oil leak...Any recommendation on what to do? You think i'll get 4 grand also? But am not going for the money i just hope they can fix the problem. FYI I stopped modding coz my car might be a lemon so they might change it.
