Hi All,

Has anyone seen the "Mercedes-Benz" illuminated door sills on page 42 of the 2009 C Class ordering guide?

Has anyone ordered them for their C63?

I'm looking for a "pricing sounding board" to compare to my dealers quote from California. I should have his quote tomorrow.

If anyone has a pic of the illuminated door sill in their C63 they wouldn't mind sharing....thanks in advance.

Complete waste of money regardless of the price IMHO. Unless you are planning to drive with doors open or without any.... save your money towards something that everyone else can enjoy while you fly past them on the road!! LOL

AMG Door Sill Part #'s
I Know this is not the ones you are looking for but these are the 'AMG' ones

AMG door sill panels
B6 602 1061_ not illuminated, set of 2, chrome-effect
B6 602 1063_ blue illumination, set of 2, brushed stainless steel

I'll Try to look them up... but the dealer usually stocks them? Guess that depends where you are..

I think that they are pretty cool looking, but my local dealer wanted $600, installed (that was 3 years ago for a W203, though). I thought that was a bit much, and passed. They strongly recommended against installing it myself, although I later saw some DIY instructions on the W203 forum and it seemed pretty straightforward. You may be able to DIY and save some $$$.
