!st amg do you have the PP package? if so what do think about the tighter suspension? have you compared the Non PP with the PP? Thanks

WOW YOU ARE LUCKY! I called 2 dealers so far to try to get my hands on those rims here in California but no luck so far. I don't think anyone here has those......

1st AMG how long did it take from when you put in the order and was it easy? I ask because I travel to Canada often, so I was thinking of ordering them there since not many people know what they are talking about here.

It was actually painless, but first I had to prove to the parts manager that such a wheel exsisted. He had his doubts with me, so I provided him with the parts numbers from the AMG website, then when he saw them he did the old "Hmmmmmm...." maybe they need different lug nuts etc, so off I went and provided info that states we could use those. So, after all this he concluded that i was a "smartypants" and to never doubt me again, so they ordered them, it took about three weeks in total, if you need the particulars of my dealer I can provide you with contacts etc. They saw them on the car the other night and the sales manager and his team where drooling, they also seem to think this completes the look of the AMG tuner car.

Hey guys, I'm not sure if anyone is interested but I own a company (completely unrelated to cars) and import goods from China all the time. If I had enough people interested, I could look to import a bunch of sets of these wheels. I have a contact looking into pricing direct from Hong Kong and could ship them along with one of my business shipments in order to save on shipping. 1st AMG, could you please post the part #s so I can provide him the exact details. One more thing, is anyone sure whether these wheels fit on the C300...I'm not sure if offset is the same as the C63. It sounds like they run about $4,000US but I'm hoping I can get them significantly cheaper, especially if we can get a bunch of people interested.

Let me know guys and I'll do some more research.

I wonder is the $4,000 per set the dealer cost, or is that a marked up price? There is always a big difference when you visit the parts department.

I believe you could easily sell your stock 18" rims to a C300 owner to negate about half that cost.

Pretty car, and pretty wheels... thanks for sharing

Question - what is the noticeable spot where the tire meets the rim, at 6 o'clock for the front wheel, and 8 o'clock for the rear?

That is acutally a little round black sticker that was on the wheel from shipping, it has since been removed, sorry i took the pictures literally after i mounted them in my garage, backed out the car and took the pics.

The wheels as posted previous were around $4000 USD, the parts numbers are as follows:
Front: B66031047 offset ET45
Rear: B66031048 offset ET54

Hope this helps.

I'd be interested, especially to see what kind of price you can get.

Thanks.

Try this outfit. Works out to just about $3,100.00 for the 4 wheels
You then need the bolts, center caps and tpms etc
Buy the tires in the USA as they are much cheaper

Those wheels will work out to alot more than that. You have to factor in duty when importing which can be very significant. Probably around that $4K mark that we're talking about by the time you pay shipping/duty/taxes. I am working on getting pricing direct from Hong Kong on them. I'll keep you guys updated, I just forwarded my contact over there the part #s.

I looked into that alloywheels direct from the UK, spoke to Allister, by the time i had it shipped, duties, taxes and plus all the center caps, AMG tire valve covers it was way more, plus to much of a hassle. Going directly to the source was the best way, when i said $4kUSD that is including all the extra hardware as mentioned.

Well wont Hong Kong have to get them from Germany?

The import duty is 3%.
The freight by ocean is $60

Yes you need the rest of it, which can be ordered in the USA but please explain how Hong Kong will be cheaper unless a knock off!

I'm not saying it's going to be cheaper. I said I could look into it. I import goods for a living, you don't need to explain how it works. These wheels are not available in North America as an option, they are in Hong Kong. I import from China, not Germany so if they are reasonably priced from the dealer there, I could likely get them cheaper than ordering them from a local dealer given the huge mark-ups with are common with auto dealer parts departments. And I'm not getting pricing on knock-offs, only the real thing.

These are the same "looking" wheels, the offsets are different on the CLK63 Black Series, I beleive on that car they are ET45 for all four. For the C32, not sure if they would fit.

They should. You would just need spacers. I'm going from memory, but on a 8.5" F you will need offset around 32 to clear the calipers and the 9.5 rears about 35.

Thanks Sincity, the offset for the C32 sounds about right using that rationale.

If your trying to mount those wheels on a c32 you should just buy slk55 wheels. Back when i had my c55 i bought a set of slk55 rims and they fit perfect.
