i no for sure that vid something is wrong b/c i race a e55 04e55amg from this forum and YES he did beat me b/c i had bald tires but besided that i was pulling on him not like this vid wher the e55 is pulling on the c63. that fu**en imposible to be a stock e55.
now i have tires and i asked him to go agin??????????

Yikes, that E55 just walked on our beloved C63, the same type of walk that our C63 does to the new M3, I sincerely doubt that E55 is stock, but what a sports sedan! Sleeper. Anyone know that guy, I think there is a member on this forum from sweden, Alex396SS, he might know him?

yeah that def. isnt stock. its so easy to coax more horses out of the E55 since it is SC that it becoes the E55's race after only a couple k in mods.

engines, especially ones that are built by hand all have variances in terms of output. It's hard to say if such was the case in each and every one of your encounters, but I do not find it hard to believe that the E55 slowly pulled away frmo the C, as I've seen higher trap speeds from E55s.

In this thread/forum
Look in the E55 forum, there are reliable sources talking about the C63 getting beat. It's a good little car but stock to stock there is no way a match.

Its strange to me how the E55 has no launch. At 70mph downshifting to around 3rd its at the top of the rpms and will launch as you jump into 4th stepping on it pretty immediately. The guy in the E55 can't drive AT ALL. He probably has the ESP on lol.
It also looks like the C63 has a clear nose start.
This race is BS.

i made a lot of times this side by side and the result is this!!! when the C63 change the gears was very very faster of E55, the difference is in gear box!!!

As you know the GT3 pulls forever. My Comp M3 shifted quicker than the GT3 but the GT3 was faster. Gear boxes only make a diff if you are on a track. LIke if there is cap on how long the run is. On HWY runs the only cap is the limiter.
On a top speed or open run on the HWY its about torque and driver ability..Whomever has the most eventually wins. I lost to an E55 up-top in the GT3 around 130 but I blew him away around 50-60...it's because of Torque.
In spurt runs with inexperienced drivers like in this vid there is no proof of anything.
The other video where the C63 gets left is really the real case, it will happen eventually and it might be close down low but eventually the E55 will walk.

hey guys, here is my experiences !
I have raced with my friend's c63 too...
1.two race start form stop: in 1th,2th gear we are head by head, in 3th gear i started to pass him a little, after that i stop beacuse the trafic
2. from rolling: start about 90-100km/h, c63 is a 1/3 car ahead unitl 160/km and then we stop. i think we are quite equal , the resaon why c63 1/3 ahead beacuse we accelerate at the same time, the reaction of my accelarating was a little slower that c63..
I think no big differences between both cars speeds!
