Pics: Composite v Stock Rotor/Intake Manifold
A stock C63 rotor:

Honestly I can't feel any difference in the P30 rotors (same pads and only the front rotors are different) v the stockers. Maybe I would during back to back sessions while open tracking...
The intake manifold has very good casting quality overall. As you can see from the pics the intake is part composite, part Aluminum. We'll beging toying around with this one by the end of the week.
Thanks
Andy

Andy - if anything it looks like they'll eat pads quicker (slots). The 5lbs is nice - between that and some nice lightweight wheels it could be something.
Thanks for the pix.
@whoover - that's just a matte finish that you're seeing, they'll shine up as the pads polish them over time.

I'm willing to trade pad life for 10lbs of unsprung/rotating mass. I didn't know until today that the brake upgrade was technically just different front rotors. I thought there were rears and different pads as well.
