What made you decide to do clear markers over painted?

i second that motion, vader kinda sounds like a douche bag to me...

i think the charcoal tinted side markers would look cool on a red c63 instead of the clear, but overall, ur car looks tight...

Anything is better than the amber, but I liked the clear or smoked over the painted. I went clear because I didn't get the smoked headlights covers...

Easy now.... NO blowers needed here.

AMG Performance Ctr in Germany has flashed several C63's with S63 ECU's to get to 525 easily. Kleemann is getting 60 to 70 hp from their ECU alone. (makes sense to me)

Diner at Morton's if iI am not at 525+ by Christmas....

70 hp off a chip flash? on a N/A car..these cars must be de-tuned hard from the factory.
The flash on the blown e55 is probably around 50. Depending on who flashes it and it could be more or less.

Bingo. A 63 is a 63 is a 63. All capable of 525 with the right ECU.

Definitely one the the more appealing factors in buying a C63

lol there is a little truth in that. most people who take off badges are those driving the lesser model, no matter what car brand it is

actually, your dead wrong. I have a top-of-the-lineC320! and i debadged it.

Just imagine those unsuspecting 325i owners thinking they could get over on what they think is a c240. You should see the look on their faces when i blow them away at the stoplights with my 215 HP! 0 - 60 in 7.2 secs.

joking...

OK, then what about the re-badgers or poser amg guys.
The main reason ppl take off badges is so that people will think its better than it is. Maybe a few take them off to be clean but it's rare.
If you wan to make a sleeper then fine, but making a sleeper out of a low model car is not what happens.

Your talking Crank #'s right?? NO way in hell you're putting down 510RWHP w/the mods you list

Shorty Headers, Removed CAT's & Resonator, X-Pipe, VR530: Upgraded Pullies/Spacers/Air Filters, ECU Tune.

I estimate you are @ 418 RWHP w/.18% driveline loss that'd put you @ 509.75 Crank HP.

Didn't say putting down 510rhwp. yes, 510hp is at the flywheel. Like I've said before, I'll post dyno sheets when all the mod's are done. I'm hoping for 550hp flywheel and about 456 at the rear wheels...

I was agreeing with you!

Yeah, there is a good photo of a C300 with AMG badges in the c-class forum. Looks absurd.

What do you guys think about putting the AMG emblems on the fender where the 6.3 was that would look original...

So, why bother removing the badges if you are going to stamp 'look at me and my C63 AMG' everywhere else?
