i learned a few things about the c63 today...
I concur that Manhattan Mercedes is a VERY good dealership!!! I bought my first 2 mercedes from them.
there is no demand for the c63. actually come to think of it there is no demand for any new amg car right now.
a new can be had for few grand under msrp. easily. a markup on those cars is... wishful thinking.

LOL, it still had some few wait list on Seattle area at least. The fastest you can get 09 is January or Late Dec. That's my sales person said to me yesterday.
now....same question...what planet do you live?

The Best of Mercedes & AMG
as a data point, i usually do not post in the c63 forum (nor read it). but i visited you guys because my next door neighbor just bought an 09 c63 and he got it for 3.5k under msrp from a local dealership so this thread picked my interest. the car had no name on it when it showed up so it was up for grabs and .... nobody was willing to grab it. the c63 is not a car i would consider of interest so i knew nothing about how they move.
btw, i am not positive but it appears to be already manufacturer-to-dealer incentive of some kind because this particular deal was straight-up (no trade in) and brought those numbers. not my game, but i will check... i know the c63s are not in a hurry to leave the lot. local dealer has 4 units as we speak and they are not exactly traffic generators.
tool? i am a high-end wholesaler for a large autogroup. you think i dont know what the scoop is on _any_ high end car nation-wide? you will be much better off just asking me things (and prolly getting eye-opening answers) than calling me names
funny somewhat related tid-bit. you know which car is a boat anchor? the clk63 black series. some were sold, some were not. the ones that are not selling are really not selling. like- 20k under msrp not-selling. dont know what it means, but - a fact. i have not driven one, but from the reviews it is supposed to be a very well executed niche product. the problem is the niche methinks though...

For the ones who dont have to worry abt their 401K, i'll suggest u wait alittle bit longer for better deals... but then again.. if u dont worry abt 401 & other investments (which for some people is down more than 50% for the yr), whats a few grand here and there?
Charles over there is just great to deal with so I never looked back at Rusnak.
I really want to tell these sales peeps: just cuz you sell $$$ cars doens't mean you own 100 of them and act like an a-hole....
