Someone try to C63 THIS me last night!!! Just driving home from a friend who detailed my car in Irvine, I was on 55 freeway 2nd lane and I saw a 08 White M3 with black rims ( NICE CAR). He passed by me, i was driving 60mph coz the one infront of me is slow as hell, but it's ok coz I dont race, but he merged to the right on the 3rd lane coz I think he is waiting for me. So I went on the 1st lane doing 70mph and he moved to the 2nd lane, were side by side, he started like reving his car and past me like 10-15 feet but i didnt race him, so he slowed down and waited for me, so were side by side again and reved his engine and past me again...at this time i was laughing and this thing happened 3 times and finally he knew i dont race so he exited on the 5 freeway, I think...if your here your car is siick

my take
in terms of C63 for 4door and M3 for 2door... u gotta do a c63 vs M3 sedan head-to-head to determine which is the better saloon anyway.
my take - i test drove both cars last week, a red C63 and a red M3 cabrio, with about a 20 min gap in between. I'd argue that the M3 was "smoother" but in terms of launch, handling, stiffness, control/grip on turns and especially brakes, it was easy for me to choose the C63.
but i agree with everyone's comments that at the end of the day, they're both obnoxiously fast and it really does come down to personal preference. but if i may make one suggestion... don't spend the 70K on the M3 and not upgrade to the 19's!! (best rims i've seen on the new M3 are actually the M6 rims)
lastly, when we doing a meet in the northeast/mid-atlantic?

Find me an E92 to race in Ohio--don't care if he's modded or not. Please. FWIW one of our customers in NJ with a C63 and our Stage I kit pulled 4 cars from a dig to 120 on a M5 with X pipe, Eisenman exhaust, and gears. M5 had just the driver, the C63 had 480lbs of driver/passenger. From a 45 roll he/C63 pulled 2 cars to 120.

I'm curious as well. Although I don't think running a S/C M3 against a C63 is the right race to see which is faster. I say stock for stock or mod vs. mod. I suppose any of them would be fun to watch though.
If anyone knows a stock E90 in south TX that wants to run a stock (for now) C63 I'm definitely game.

I think the guys went somewhere and I think the fastest was an E55...I did'nt go coz I dont race I just drive fast 
and at that time his is stock and mine was tuned by Power Chip so you cant really compare it.

So my question is, we all knows who's faster in a straight line stock vs stock in most conditions. However, is there any legit video out there of both cars stock vs stock or are we still on page 1?
