I am in SoCal sorta I am 100 miles north of Lancaster Palmdale
On the way to Mammoth.
but I have been to many a Porsche coffee get together down in Calabasas.
So I could make everyonce inawhile. Its 1.5 hours from Calabasas to Ridgecrest in a Porsche GT3, it would be interesting to see how long in a AMG.
But the problem with the San Bernadino, Ontario Anehiem area is I would have to go down 395 to I15 which sucks. hwy 14 to the 5 405 is much better.

VCR is where I saw my first DTM. Old guy rocketed in there and hit a curb
and cracked some carbon fiber. Then he went to Buttonwillow that day
and ran it at the track. It had a one day permit.

they close Euro Sunday didnt they?

What I like!
I would enjoy meeting you guys. The smaller the group, the more fun because we would have to talk to each other.

We used to have some Porsche get togethers in Mid Cal
just so some of the NoCal guys could make it and we would
have a lunch Best times ever for me as a car guy.
Yes it would be fun in a group of 10 or so.

By the way, I saw a white C63 tonight in Westwood near UCLA, is that anyone's? It was refreshing to see a white one!

mmmmmm
im not gonna argue with an m3 owner....cuz m3 is faster on a track with the turns and handling the m3 is a better machine...however, in a straight line the m3 will lose given that the c as more hp and torque...
in which case i love my car =)

Yes, I never get hired of seeing people type the C63 is faster.

Ok, just to make it plain, my DCT will BEAT a C63 in a straight line. Don't think so? Meet me at the track.

M3's come in several trim levels, please specify which trim you are referring to.

Sticky this is a thread about getting together.

Are you 12? You cant even stay out of a thread of
guys getting together?

Your car that weighs the same cant be faster than a car with
140 more pounds of torque in a straight line.
Physics wont allow it.

If you want to come for coffee please contribute but take your
call outs to another thread- really this is about getting togehter.

Just took delivery of my C63 about three weeks ago now, would definitely be down to meet up with some of the local owners here for some food, coffee, or a nice cruise I'm located in LA, K-Town area, but drive back to Baldwin Park every day to my office. We should definitely set something up

I'm at Cars and Coffee from time to time, would be glad to meet you.

You apparently are not familiar with the M3's curb weight nor torque multiplication due to gearing.

I quoted a post in the thread BTW.

It is all good, let me know when you are at the next cars and coffee meet.

Is that like a new nick name Beleza? lol I know my C63 is faster in a straight line and why should I go all the way to the track which is atleast an hour or more away from me to prove to him that his car is slower. I am not trying to be cocky like him but those are facts that I can understand. I have mentioned to him that I have done my own tests in a straight line with another M3. Now I am sure he will beat me in a race on the race track because of the advantages he has on the corners but he won't win in a straight line.

PERIOD & END of DISCUSSION!

Please lets keep to the topic of this thread.....
