Poking around dragtimes it seems your quickest times come at Famoso? Looks like fontana sucks 3 mph from your trap and almost 4/10's.

What time do I have to be there by for tech?

would like to be there but the weekend doesnt work well for me. maybe another time i'll drive there.

Who are you to say I'm embarrassing the entire C63 community? Technically you don't have your C63 yet so calm down and blaax buddy, I am not saying anything to you. All I said was if the guy welcomes ppl nicely then I would inform others to go and maybe even so will I, but I won't do so if he is going to be all cocky about racing in his M3. That would look bad on my part don't you think?

Anyhow w/e you guys wanna do, go ahead. Just keep the bashing to a minimum and have a good time at the race. I can already see a topic, "Sticky2 Gets Stuck Behind In The Dust" (Hint Hint ICE) hahaha No Offense Sticky2 but most likely thats what will happen......

Nice, I could sorta see them. The M3 IMO is the hottest one of the lot! Love that car. Funny, for about a year I was really disappointed with what they did with the new body design (as I mentioned in the M3forum), but now I stare every time I see one. Looks great. I'm trying to get a matte silver paint job on my new C63 from the AMG factory since I'm here in Germany. Here's a sample of what it'll look like if I can work it. Super hot!

Just to be clear this is "street legal drags" not a private event.

There will be a TON OF CARS.. We need to be early and establish a pit.
I will have some tools and a jack, likely some drinks etc..

I will be happy to help with questions etc. We have a couple weeks to plan this so lets make the most of it. Should be real fun to meet everyone and see old buds.

Famoso is 1/2 the altitude of Fontana.

cal Speedway seems to run up hill, usually you face a head wind and high temps.

The track is well prepped most of the time , but on a street legal day it likely will not be great. It will take some very skillful driving to attain decent times.

Heads up will be fun as usual.

The best runs at Fontana are attained early , 830-11am. My runs at Famoso were outstanding and will be difficult to ever match at Fontana.Best run in a 63 @Fontana

Yes, I could never get great times in my E46 M3 at Fonatana. The elevation and heat usually kills times but we will have a point of reference at least with you there.

Still surprised no C63's are willing to come, a shame really, I guess you will be the closest thing.

What are your mods again? Chip, lightweight wheels, intake / filter work of some sort?

What time do you recommend getting there?
