Some pix of the New Ride - and my Others
Besides, I still need 3k miles for next year's platinum status.

Thanks!

Thanks Bro! I have a little Italian Spider that should be in early spring but in the meantime I have my eye on a few vintage Italians and am awaiting a significant buying opportunity in the next 6 months for an F40 and 275GTB/4, etc.
Please let me try to shed light on a big misconception about the Scuderia or the F430. Ferrari suspensions are not jarring. They are stiff and controlled, but not nearly the jarring ride that I got in my Carrera GT or that of that other Italian brand. The spring rates in the Scuderia may be higher and the car lower with the spings titanium etc, than the Spider or F430 coupe, but the ride - while hard - is not jarring at all. The F430 and F430 Spider are a bit more compliant than the Scuderia for sure.
That is one of the truly amazing things about Ferrari - they provide incredible performance but do it with passion and perspective.
Cheers
Am I right in assuming that the little Italian Spider is California? In any case, only if all the people who had the means to living large also had the brains to stack next to each other such a fine historic collection. Those cars will forever remain as contemporary forms of art, because that is exactly what they are. By the way, what happened to your Carrera GT? not in possession of it anymore? I hope you didn't exchange it for a Prancing Horse!

On the next one, no California for me, thanks. It is in the family though and they are making a few hundred total....stay tuned..
The Carrera GT found a nice home; there was no replacement, per se, but the Scuderia does the track time now that the Carrera GT used to occupy. I find the Scuderia a more complete track car and driving 2 hours to get to the track is not only manageable, but enjoyable. My track times are a bit faster in the Scuderia than in the Carrera GT - probably more a refelction on my driving abilities than anything else (tho I did set fast lap a few times in the Scuderia). What really stands out in the Scuderia over the Carrera GT is the passion and overall package - Again, totally subjective of course.
And I 100% agree that those are rolling forms of art! I don't have a Ferrari but if I did, I would make sure it creates a symphony of its own every morning!
Will take some shots of the C63 tonite - did some blackout and CF and wheels and .....
She also likes driving it - she has a lead foot and loves going from 80-120++ in the blink of an eye - the acceleration is "brutal" she says.
Don't get me wrong, she loves the Scuderia and Spider, but for different reasons and if we were out on the town would surely pick the 599.
Not sure it answers your question but.....
BTW, my wife and I were born and raised in Brooklyn. Don't live far from there - in fact will be out at New Corners in the next week.......
Oh Can you hire me? Although I have been a Naval systems engineer for 26 years I would glady go to work for you if I could buy a 599 bone stock!!
OR you can adopt me and I have enough knowledge that if we can get the coordinates of any of the people that give you problems I can make a few phone calls. Do some targeting and have them eliminated with smart weapons.
Your choice of course!!
just kidding sort of.
