On top of that, Teleaid does not work unless you have line of sight from the sky, much like Navigation unit or SAT radio. LoJack operates by radio frequencies so even if your car is about to be shipped overseas in a container they can still trace it.
Also Teleaid antenna is clearly visable on the roof or trunk of the car, all a thief have to do is cut the wires or remove the antenna and Teleaid won't be able to pick up any signal. Lojack installation is random and hidden so theives can't even tell if the car has Lojack installed.
