Anyone here from Australia with a C63 ??

Has anyone done the CFt vents on the front bumper? Pondering whether or not to put one on as it looked good on the black series I had but unsure how you fit them on a C.
Has anyone got a pic of one not installed or know about them?
p.s. I got a call today telling me that my 'edition 63' have just been put on the ship as of yesterday so will arrive late Nov, early Dec.

I just finished a tour of the AMG factory last week and one lucky owner from the land of Oz had a white C63 wagon in the performance studio getting a full leather treatment added to it. The car was white with a black and white interior complete with white contrast stitching. Even the shift lever boot and the rear view mirrow had the black leather with white contrast stitching on it. I hope I didn't drool on it too much!!! Damn MB USA won't let us order that kind of stuff for our cars.

I’ve seen a few others around, though I’ve only seen yours the once. It was a bit over a month ago when I was driving thru Top Ryde. You came up beside me, had a look, then changed lanes and passed me. I remember the plates.

Sydney here. About to possibly order a brand new Obsidian Black with Black interior tomorrow or next week. Just depends on the test drive tomorrow. Test driving one tomorrow [17/10 - AU time] at Marshalls Parramatta. Very excited! Going to discuss finance and hopefully see what comes for 10' rather than rush to buy one now.
Sadly, I'm going to trade/sell a Metallic Black 08' E60 530i with only 10,000kms with BOTH Professional and Sports packages (including Style 172 19" wheels). It has been an absolute blast to drive. Very comfortable and much more involved and better feeling than the previous E350 we had.
I was considering an E90 M3, but two reasons why I wasn't interested:
i) An M3 is a pure racing legacy. An M3 is a high performance 2-door coupe made for the track. It is not a powerful luxury saloon like the C63 AMG, that is just meant for mashing the pedal and pure straightline thrill. So therefore, it ultimately should have never come in the 4-door E90 version. Unfortunately E92 is impractical for my family.
ii) 'Not enough power to release the joys of the inner child'. If the E90 M3 had the same power as the C63 AMG; I would buy it in a heart beat, because I'd know that I'd be driving a pure enthusiast, sports car.
Nevertheless, the C63 AMG makes up for it with power and the thrill of kicking *** on the highway. :P

XC90, 2x67ShelbyGT350, 68ShelbyGT500, 3 mustang GT's and now my gorgeous Palladium C63
aussie dollar
with the strength of the aussie dollar against most foreign currencies you'd think the price of these cars would be dropping.
wishful thinking on my part.
my Palladium C63 is 8 days away and i can't wait. would have been great if they refunded me the difference in the cost of the car from when i ordered (@ AUD$0.76 Fx) compared to the current exchange rate of 0.92

main difference is the option of reverse camera and keyless go i guess.
new side mirrors introduced already in the 09 model.
and of coz the price is higher compared to before. stupid LCT at 33%.

Ive been speaking with Matthew from GMP performance. I went with the ADV5 3 piece wheel in 19s. 19x8.5 and 19x10, white spokes, polished lip (not chrome lip as they mainly do in the USA). Should be here mid december i reckon. I didnt go 20in mainly because as you know, our roads are **** house, with pot holes every were, and having to use really low profile tyres last thing i want to do is damage the rim. I will post pics once fitted to the car

Nice one mate, but be careful with rear tyres on a 10'' rim, it is going to be tight.
What offset rear? What size tyre?
Ive got 9.5 with 275,s 50 offset on rear of mine and ive got about 1mm to spare.

yeah i know its going to be tight, thanks though, il be using a 265 on the 10in. offset is around 48 on the rear. im also going to get my rear guards modified soon to make it fit better as i will be lowering the car too.

I agree. I have 10’s with 285’s and it’s not an easy fit if practicality is what you’re after.
Have you got any photos?

Nice choice of rim, they will look sensational on a white car. Have you seen any photos of 9x10 in a 48 offset fitted to a C63.
Why go for 10’s if you are only fitting a 265 tyre? A 9.5 would possibly save guard work and any chance of heartache unless you intend to go fatter at a later stage.
