C63 Headlights and stealth

I have been reading a lot about stealth factors as they relate to LIDAR and how LEOs target cars. The main areas they target are the front plate and the headlights due to the reflective nature of these areas. I run without a front plate, so the next area they would target on me is the headlights.
My question surrounds the C63 headlights and the fact that they are darkened vs. a regular C-Class. Do you think this helps diminish the ability for a LEO to get a good shot from distance on our cars (I am thinking how Veil protects the headlight area from LIDAR). Is Veil overkill an a C63 headlight cluster?

no they do not. They are ginormous reflectors of IR energy - you'd have to sand them to a rough finish to diminish that and you'd still have the mirror surface to contend with.

You want protection - grab a laser jammer. They work fantastically well.

Cheers.

As a LEO please don't waste your time with that. You can just point to the windshield as there you go. I agree get a jammer if your state laws allow

By the way I have allways cut breaks to people who have been honest with me. Just my .2 Honesty go a long way.

WHo makes laser jammer? They are quite illegal in California but I would like to use one in a military lab exercise

I have the SRX in route to me right now which has both the radar detector and laser jammer as part of the package so I am good there. I was just wondering if MB did the dark clusters on the 63 for any practical reason or is it just for aesthetics.

A friend of mine swears by his K40 laser jammers. He has them on 3 of his cars and hasn't gotten a ticket in years despite posessing a lead foot and having seen many LEOs clock him with Lidar.
It's something I'm going to have to look into as well.
