RESALE THAT BAD? 2100 MILES 49995 OMG
I AM IN THE MARKET TO GET A C63 WAITING A LITTLE BIT CAUSE PRICE WISE LITLLE RIDICULOUS DEALERS ARE NOT DISCOUNTING AT ALL I BOUGHT A 08 C350 FOR MY WIFE FIRST WHEN IT CAME OUT PAID 42000 NOW WORTH 30000. I AM THINKING IF I SHOULD WAIT TILL THE HYPE IS OVER TO GET A GOOD DEAL ON EBAY THEY HAVE A BLACK ON BLACK 2100 MILES FOR 49995 BUY IT NOW DEAL THATS A GREAT DEAL BUT I DONT WANT BLACK I WANT WHITE OR RED BUT WHY IS THE RESALE SO BAD ? I WAS SO SHOCKED TO SEE IT I THINK I SHOULD WAIT 2-3 MONTHS TO FIND THAT DEAL ON THE COLOR I LIKE WHAT DO U GUYS THINK?

If you're looking to save money, you might as well wait and buy used. Cars aren't for investment, but that being said AMG cars tend to lose around 50% of their resale value in a few years. (from what I've seen) There's not exactly much 'hype' since most c63's these days are selling from anywhere between msrp or invoice. I don't really factor in resale value into most cars I purchase since I keep my cars until they can no longer function.
Also, I THINK YOU NEED TO LAY OFF THE CAFFEINE.

First it's a 2008. Second it was only $64,000 brand new, so they may have been able to buy it for less. I think that is about right considering the depriciation and the market these days.

You got to be kidding right? What depriciation? according to this forum the
C63 that you paid 65K and you added another $30K for more HP (and you think car sales people are slick)LOL you drive it like you stole it for a couple of years or less now you have a C63 with 452 HP LOL, it runs like S***you B****about the gas milege, the tire costs and etc and then you just push to the back yard if you are serious and go buy another, maybe now it will be C72with 872HP, and will be a new forum with new posers, and Bimmers drivers that still can get over they M3 are dust. What depriciation? what is that? No one CRS

I've slowly started looking at slightly used 2008's as well The price drop is worth considering, and I really don't want to take a $10k hit on day 1.
Plus, the 2008's have the power folding mirrors.
