CLS55 AMG & RRS S/C
the s/w flash that jeffield had done, did show over 50whp gains on the dyno. he did before and after runs. none of this had anything to do with SR.
also keep in mind that the C63 comes detuned from the factory which makes it easier to unleash that detuned hp and also to tweak it to make even more.
this flash was done through the guys at Powerchip who flew down here to custom dyno tune and flash several people's car. Advance Motorsport is going to be carrying Powerchip and will actually have the tools necessary to flash cars here which avoids the hassle of sending out ECUs, and also makes it convenient for getting updated flash software or getting reflashed in case the dealer somehow erases their PC one.
Powerchip does a great job with ecu tuning and are able to access many more maps than other hacks out there. for example on the 55, most tuners can only access about 8 maps to change variables and tune the ecu. powerchip is able to access over 90 of them.

i went down to the seattle drags with some of the guys from Advance Motorsport and we just got back last night. the S55 (ShangoAshe) was able to hit 12.1@117mph with a 60' of 2.146 if he is able to get his car to hook up better he would be in the 11s! pretty impressive for such a big car.
i was able to get a decent launch on my car with a 60' time of 1.795 and i managed to run 11.344@124.80 mph. the next couple of runs were also 11.3s. i need to perfect my launch now and try and hit the 1.6s mark for my 60' and get the car even faster. it would be nice to hit 10s one day.
