iPod Control - Did You Know?
I figured out something cool today. I figured out how to COMPLETELY control my iPod from my steering wheel.
Select "Aux" from the audio options.
Select the "Audio" option on the dashboard settings using the steering wheel controls.
Now, using the telephone "disconnect" button, press it one time.
You should now see on your dashboard display the option to scroll through Podcasts, Genres, Artists, Songs, Shuffle Songs, etc.
I hope this helps someone.

THANK GOD!!! I could not figure out how the hell to navigate through my ipod...none of the buttons I tried worked...who would have thought you had to use the phone buttons...this is the worst ipod interface I've seen in any car...

Its in the manual. What sucks is you advance the iPod using the down arrow on the steering wheel, but when playing CDs, you press up on the arrow. MB should make them the same.

There is NO update. It is a totally different hardware solution. Mid City does indeed have it but it's a four digit expense. Sorry - over $1k for the ability to view songs on the main display? nuh uh. I'll spend that on performance parts.
