How fast have you gone?

scarbtj in Orlando?
If you want give the GM my number (614 940 9523) or email: andrew@modernhorsepower.com I'll be more than happy to set him up with a seriously discounted "tester" tune for a vehicle of his choosing--we can do yours if you talk him into it. It would still carry the same $ back guarantee all our tuning.
Thanks
Andy

Don't wanna spoil the party but...
Just thought I'd chime in here from a law enforcement perspective, to give you guys something to think about. I have spoken with several NYPD highway officers, and I'm sure their feelings are shared by a significant number of our colleagues in different departments.
The general feeling is that anyone caught doing speeds upwards of 150mph on a public road would not be issued a traffic ticket, and instead be arrested and charged with Reckless Endangerment, which in New York is a Class A Misdemeanor, carrying a sentence of up to 1 year in jail.
Again, I'm not trying to be a wet blanket, I just wanted you guys to know what you were risking driving at these speeds on public roads.

S 120.20 Reckless endangerment in the second degree.
A person is guilty of reckless endangerment in the second degree when
he recklessly engages in conduct which creates a substantial risk of
serious physical injury to another person.

It is no secret that in the US speed limits are designed to generate revenue.

That's OK, the best I can hope to get the C63 to locally is 80mph due to traffic, so you get to play with your car much more then I ever will. Have you seen your tires wear quickly at the higher speeds?

I just don't really understand why you would want to go that fast on a public road given how terribly unpredictable other drivers are. I nearly flipped a marked police car when someone decided to change lanes right in front of me while I was going 80 with my lights and sirens on. If that person didn't see me, you think they are going to see a C63 coming at 100+? Meanwhile you can go to a track, go faster and be safe.
The choice is obvious for me
