BI-XENON 6000k INSTALL QUESTIONS
Hello,
I've been searching the threads and I can't seem to find how to change out my factory Bi-xenon bulbs to the D2S 6000K bulbs I have.
I looked in the owners manual and it says to have an authorized technician do it, but I don't want to spend the time/money to have the dealer do it.
I unscrewed the back cover off the headlamp assembly and I saw a transformer--- I then immediately screwed the cover back on...
I thought that if you just bought replacement bulbs (I have 6000k to replace the 4300k) it was a simple process--
I know some people have done this on the forum, but I can't find any threads that tell you how to do it exactly.
Any help much appreciated--
Paul

Unscrew cover from behind headlight. Unhook power cable from back of bulb. Unhook clips that hold bulb in. Reverse procedure, done.
The C63 takes a D1S. So it has the transformer built in.

Thanks for the reply--that answered my question.
Now, can I use a D2S bulb instead of the D1S? Can you remove the D1S bulb from the transformer box and put in the D2S?
