After H&R springs

After H&R springs, painted black eyelids, painted black side mirrors (upper part), and same color side markers...insight is welcomed!

Looks awesome

Couple q's

How far is the drop with H&R? How is the ride?

Were these the new H&R springs made specifically for C63 or the C-class?

.75 inches, almost one inch. I tell you, some people say the ride gets stiffer with the springs but i had them installed today and so far i dont really notice much but the fact that you feel the street just a bit more. About 10% stiffer i would say but you can inmediately feel the improved handling!

Made for the C63

I have the same spings installed on my car and I would say the stiffness is the same as stock.

Not at all, i can pass thru speed bumps perfectly without scraping, of course you gotta slow down a bit more when your car is lower.

How is the ride with the new springs? Are the stock shocks ok or do they recommend changing to different shocks? Looks awesome!

Looks good. I would suspect that once the springs settle a little bit you might see about a full 1 inch drop.

The only insight I can give is that I wish I bought black instead of silver. That is bad ***!

Not really, i ordered it from a company that resides in germany. Basically it is an original german tag that was decomissioned and was no longer active.

Yea ill post a pic that i took about 3 days ago (before springs were installed)

NICE!

I have couple of questions

1. How did you make you back lens all black? Do they sale it somewhere?

2. I own PP C63 and Im thinking on changing to H&R springs but I dont want to go softer. Does anyone know the rate of PP springs? what H&R springs but not PP. If someone knows please let me know thank you.
