I recall seeing the old typing pools where literally hundreds of people, admittedly mostly female, would produce the countless pieces of documents that any good-sized organization would produce on any given day. They got on fine without Spellcheck, T9 Predictive Text Input, or Suretype.

And that's just spelling. Let's not even get into grammar, or worse, some of the thinking that goes on behind some postings and threads here. You just have to relax, let out the occasional Egad! when you see some of the more ridiculous goings on here and try not to react. Your blood pressure will thank you for it.

Damn, am I becoming one of you??
You seem like a decent enough gent, and are hereby excused from any further comments regarding your C-class ilk.

This is a decree from CH.

The snobbish attitudes of the “visitors” to this forum annoy me much more than the grammatical issues that may plague our threads. I nearly fell out of my chair when I read that someone actually allowed his disdain of C-class owners to influence his perception of the vehicle itself. However we all make our own choices and I stand by my C63 as a truly remarkable car at a great price. To be looked down upon by the owner of a generic 6 cylinder E class (AMG?) is the ultimate example of poetic justice.

Oh big man you paid two hundred bucks more a month to finance your depreciating asset than he did. Congratulations you fail.

Stiggs, first you said your spelling blows. Now you say it sucks. So I suppose your spelling blows and sucks at the same time? LOL.

If that's a shot at me, then there's more evidence toward point about the mentality of the perceived typical and pretty much proven stereo-typical attitude here perfectly.

Car-Status means nothing to me, my "lowly" E-Class was a far superior choice for my life than a C63 could be.

It ain't the car anyone's "looking down on", it's some of the people that buy it. Unfortunately for me, the poor car is getting drowned in the musky stench of many of its seemingly adolescent hot-headed owners.

News flash for you: this is a Mercedes Benz forum.....we are all materialistic to a degree or we would be bashing each other back and forth in the Yugo forums.

Actually I paid an additional ten thousand dollars to purchase my depreciating asset rather than a German Buick. Regardless, it was money well spent and I happen to like hanging out with all of us illiterate and juvenile C63 owners in this particular forum. I have no interest in visiting any of the other model forums especially if the posts are as venomous as the ones posted in here by the “Old Guard.” Every family has a hated stepchild as we must be to the rest of the MB world.( At least based upon the posts contained in this thread.) I see several members joined in this hate crusade with 4 figure posts and if the majority of the posted opinions mirror the nasty commentary that precedes this post then it really amounts to a big pile of internet pollution. I really don’t know what brought about this tirade of anti Cism but I won’t waste any more time on responding. Time to get back to sharing positive thoughts regarding great cars.

Over and out.

I agree. I think being laid back and friendly on here is the better path from here on out.

There are some oddly bitter people coming into this forum and it doesn't reflect well on us to engage them.

It is far better to respond to the positive people.

All of this is a tempest in a teacup.

Wow... what a thread! (not long but worthwhile reading) Guess I should keep a habit of previewing my replies, quotes and threads before I post them. I also ask all for your forgiveness should I make any grammar or spelling mistakes which seem or

My Korean is as bad as my English... and my boss has a hard time understanding my German... I haven't lost my confidence in posting... yet... but I am 1x satisfied C 63 owner happy taking part in this forum! (although I'm still a newbie and some of you would consider me a visitor, etc)

I was under the impression that posting in off topic section does not increase your post count…

This can mean two things!!

1. That they have actually participated (a lot) in normal posts in the past (unless off topic did count before)

2. You do not want to see the actual post count for some of the off topic members, if it was added to the normal post count....

I could crack a joke and say this is WAR!!!….but my god, that is an other topic you guys talk about a lot, but not like politics

Politics threads were a plague in off topic!

Glad to see it has died down some what.

Have to hand it to you guys though was an interesting post and I do agree that the C63 forum is filled with a much younger M3 resembling generation. Some are actually previous M3 owners so…

I for one care not much for the way you type, or talk, so long as it has substance and can benefit us all & your self as car enthusiasts.

And lastly respect to other members

Peace!
