Which is better?
Hey guys, I drive a bimmer, so I don't have first hand experience, but I was wondering which car you thought was better, actually I have a few comparisons.
E46 M3 vs. C63. I'm guessing some of you guys used to drive these?
C55 vs. C63 I know what you may be thinking, but I hear that some of the w203 guys don't care for your newer, faster 63s.
C63 vs. RS4. One poster here claims that he biatched one of these the other night, so I'm guessing the 63 is slightly superior. What do you guys think?

I think you are walking into a minefield of "C63 smashes everything", though if you do a search you will find numerous M3 guys who have sold their cars for a loss ino order to get a C63.

E46 m3 is by far my favorite M3, i love its small and powerful i6 engine. Also, i think it looks wayyy more aggressive than current e9x m3.

Are you actually in the market for a new car, or is this meant to be just idle chatter? I doubt you'll get many responses stating the C63 is inferior to any of those cars you mentioned.

Boy12, I have a 08 335i a 06 X5 4.8is and the AMG is better than the
E90X M3. I test drove lots of them but I havent driven the E46.
The RS4 is no longer being made so think about but I drove both of
them and the C63 is the better car. The C55 I dont know.

well i HAD a e46 m3 smg and also had a 545i,
i dont have the p.p pack on mine so this car feels like the 545i sport pack handling wise.
the c63 with p.p feels like the e46 m3 handeling wise.
as far as speed this this will abuse all the car you put in your list and the cars i put in my list good luck.

I only test drove the C63...
But I prefer the interior of my C55 to the C63's. However, the interior wasn't why I turned down deliver of the C63 and in all other aspects (horsepower being a major one, but not the only one) I think the C63 is definately better. And I'm pretty sure the interior would grow on me if I was driving it everyday!

I've had the luxury of driving all of these cars, and the C63 is certainly a better car in pretty much all aspects. I am not being bias either

I recently bought an E46M3 after trading in the lease on my E500... I was looking for something sporty and fast... I didnt really look at the E9x M3, but I was looking for a C63 to test drive, alas no one around here had them in yet.
In any case the exhuast note alone would make me jump from the M3 to the C63... I dont think the C55 would though, I drove the C32 quite a bit and 55 wasnt different enough for my likings

IMO M3>C63.
I like Benzes over BMW's in pretty much all their comparative model lines, except for the entry level chassis'. The C just lacks alot of real Benz refinement-quality IMO and has a less than satisfactory interior. I think the 3 has a little more of a refined edge to it, and although I wouldn't bet on an M3 against a C63 in a race obviously, I'd give it a slight all around victory.
That's speaking of a E9x by the way, although I much prefer the E46 to that too (my favourite M), but will agree it lacks in many ways over the C, personal prefferance aside.
