I saw one about month ago. You're right, it's not very attractive.

A local performance shop just tuned one the other day and I believe they got 485rwhp out of one bone stock...imagine with a pulley swap, intake, and exhaust these will be somewhere close to 600rwhp

Actually, he's a friend and I was making an inside joke (given that he sold me my C63). If u even knew me (which u don't), you'd know that I've owned many American cars and am not a brand *****...like some of the other fanbois on this site

as mentioned on the E55 forum..

12 months from now.. these cars will be had in the high 30's, low 40's...

nobody in their financial right mind would buy one of these.. maybe lease it ..

buying a used one would be perfect.. I would not mind getting rid of my E55 for a used CTS-V..

with the economy right now. I personally think any used car is much better valued than the new especially the higher price the car is. saw bunch of 2006 M5 with 35k-40k miles going for around mid-high $40k. can't beat that consider new M5 is now $100k out the door.

That would be a wise decision, but the problem is there's always the prospect that the original owner may have beat the snot out of the car. No one buy these high hp car for cruising or am I wrong? I guess that's the risk some of us has to take, myself included.
