As long as I get to see a shortbus full of big tongues and Pete Rose haircuts I'm good to go.

I stand by that statement completely. For people without a Vagisil deficiency it is a reasonable statement. Engineering tires is a matter of degree. Gain one thing give up another. Give up a little dry for a little wet. Just looking for something with a bit better wet performance than the Pzeros. I guess that's not appropriate to examine my tire options.

I've seen this thread (see link below) in the offtopic section. You don't exactly seem to be all there. It's nothing that Seroquel couldn't fix.

I call it the "black", so what?

To attack my intelligence or anyone else's for that matter, on this forum is not very cool. The whole purpose of this forum is to bounce ideas and experiences off each other, not to vilify anyone. Whats wrong with everyone?

You are a moron. You cannot have a summer high performance wet tire, that is a double negative. Wet tires are designed for wet conditions, as dry performance are designed for dry conditions. There is no Dry-wet, what you are referring to is called an all season tire.

CH we may need like ten of those short buses though. Maybe they can drag race each other? Or my bad brake race each other..... you know the new big thing.

Jack of all trades, master of absolutely none. F1 has better tech than NASA and they have to do tire changes when it sprinkles or there is trouble.

Take the stick out of your *** and pause for a second. The Pzeros have dry traction and wet traction characteristics. I was interested in a tire with a little bit better traction in the rain. I don't track my car. I don't think it is bat**** crazy to look for something that gives up a little dry traction to gain a little traction in the rain. I'm looking for a modest change. What's wrong with you? I'm not looking for something that lets me drive like an a**h**e in the rain. Just looking for something that is a little less prone to hydroplane. Something a little less. Not something extremely different. Relax a little.

The funny part is that you fundamentally lack insight into your own idiocy.

He obviously wants a hermaphrodite tire to match himself.

To each his own but I think that giving up rain performance is NOT necessary if one wants outstanding dry performance as well.

This is your quote. I have not edited that, you did not use the word modest anywhere, you actually said OUTSTANDING.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HMyGd...eature=related

Watch this video, the man Hamilton passes at the end of the lap had 30 seconds on him before the start of the last lap. He stayed out on the drys and Hamilton had switched over to the intermediate wets a few laps before. He gained over 30 seconds in one lap as the rain started to poor down. That is the drastic difference in performance of a wet tire and a dry tire.

I don't track my car. I'm not looking for a tire for rainy track days.

Outstanding to me is a fun tire that lets me have a little fun on some backroads with solid grip when it is dry but I'm willing to give up the absolute cutting edge of dry performance for a bit of a gain in hydroplane resistance. You completely demonstrated how much of a stick in you *** you have by that post. Your posts about racing performance on a track have no relevance to me.

Just want to make sure we nip ideas like this before they get out of control. Wouldn't want to be caught with a "4-Door SLR" thread.

You are a lost cause, when you make the thread that says Oh Noes C63 smacked into the wall today, I will be the first to say I told you so.

If you don't understand what the cutting edge of tire technology has to do with your car then may the gods of ESP be with you.

Weight and downforce play a huge role in F1 along with wet, intermediate's and dry tires which could never be compared to a street car.
