New C63 prices
I want to buy a new C63. Are dealers discounting new 2009 C63s below MSRP? If so, how much? Are there any incentives?
Thanks,
Lew

Depends on where you are located. The dealers in the DFW area won't discount a dime on a C63. I had to buy from out of state to get a good deal.

There is a fully loaded performance packaged car in FL for about $7,500 off. A nearly new 500 mile performance packaged for about $13,000 off. Check the auction sites.
I can't imagine a serious dealer not taking at least invoice for any new C63 in stock. Mercedes is stacking cars at the port right now because many dealers dont want any new cars.

The discounts you guys are speaking of at $7k-$8k off is nearly a 12% discount. Im sorry, but that would be one of the dumbest things a dealership could do. I could realistically see the $3k-$4k discount, but not a 12%. The new rates just came out and unfortunately they are no better than last months on the C63. There are however value added leases on the E63 and CLS63's.

Probably a big holdback from the manufacture. Mercedes increased prices on these things by about $3000 in a matter of weeks. They used to start at $53,100 in May I believe. Now its around $56,000. They are probably giving that back to the dealers.
There is still usually a hefty dealer fee of around $600. Then they strike gold if you finance through MBUSA!

the thing is the faster they sell off the car the less intrest they have to pay on the loan they took out to buy the car from MB. So even if they are selling it below what they bought it for they are still saving on the incured intrest.

Hello forums, I'm a long time reader and AMG lover but this will be my actual first time posting. Its a real mess whats happening to the auto market lately. I was at my local MB dealership (Carlton Greenville, SC) and was offered an 09 Iridium Silver C63 fully loaded stickered at $69k for only $44k lol...I wasnt able to jump on the offer at the time and lost out. It's gone now . My father was offered an 07 CL550 for 50% off sticker... Carlton MB is hurting over here.
