I strongly suspect that the GTR is much more forgiving, however, with launch control and awd - even relatively inexperienced drivers could likely do very well with it. C63 less so... you'd have to launch it near-perfect for it to be close (IMHO).
Agree, many of the "stock" GT-R are trapping in the 116mph area. I suspect the mags got some juiced GT-R's to get to 120's. The launch and traction make it a killer that allow less talented drivers become heros. Have to give Nissan credit for raising the bar. Porsche guys are beside themself, got to love it.

With the pressure generated by the pre-launch hype surrounding the car, it wouldn't surprise me that Nissan threw in a few ringers for the initial magazine tests. And then there was that issue of the gap between Nissan's recorded Nurburgring time and what Porsche test drivers managed.

When I first got my GTR, it didn't feel as insanely fast as what the magazines described, but I still managed to beat my friend's Superleggera from a roll.

The GTR gave Jeremy from Top Gear whip lash while he was driving it from it's sick handling. It was amazing around those turns.

We have one of each local with software but they haven't had the luxury if meeting each other yet I don't think. I need to invite them out to our next track event.
