: My Matte Black C63
Hope you don't mind my asking - how much did the wrap cost? Also - do you now have to wash the car in a special way? Can the vinyl peel? What does it look like inside the door jams - still white? Hope you don't mind me asking all of these questions.

The wrap cost somewhere between $4000-$4500, depending where you live because of the travel cost of the installer. You wash the car with water and soap only, nothing special. The Vinyl does peel, you can DIY I think. The door jams are still white, since it was such a hassle to wrap them.
Let me know if you have any more questions.
Anyway - when I asked if the vinly peeled I meant to ask if there was a risk of it peeling. Does it last for only a certain amount of time? I've never seen a vinyl wrapped car in person so I am just trying to gauge the quality and permenance of the application.

I don't think it would peel by itself, or that what I was told by skinwrapz. It's suppose to stay there for a long time, but how long? I don't really know.
The quality of the wrap is excellent, and the application is even better. Boris (the guy who wrapped my car) has wrapped very exotic cars such as Carrera GT, Audi R8, GT-R, and F430 that I saw here in Sterling, VA. Everyone seems to be happy with his work. You can check some pics on their website.

I don't like it. I'm not that old (40), but to me the whole matte looks like a car in primer. IMHO, these are amazing cars and I like it when the paint and wheels make them "pop", rather than when they are all mono-chromatic or matte. Cheapens the car in my opinion, but given that 99% of everyone else LOVES it, the problem must be with me.
I will say, that I really do appreciate it when people do what they want, and so for that I give you mad props for making the car what you wanted.
For anyone who wants to have the similar effect not just in black but your oem color, you can get that done. You can add a Flattening Agent to your clear coat to get the degree of flat you want. Ie. Semi gloss to flat depending on the mixing ratio. Fwiw.
