Sucks to hear it. In the future based on my own experiences I am going to place 2 orders at 2 dealerships and buy the one that comes as I requested.
My only advice, suck it up and just buy a fresh one off the lot. Unless you were waiting on the CF interior or something.

Give the VIN number to another local dealership (or the closest one) and see if they can hijack that order for you and bring it in through their store. All Canadian MB dealers can access the same central ordering system, if I recall correctly.

I'm going to contact MB Canada tomorrow and see what I can find out on that end. In the meantime though, I can't feel too sorry for myself - there's a big group of people, some who I know, lost their jobs today and my lost order is nothing compared to what they're going through.
And my salesman, great guy, got me my deposit back even.

Here's to hoping that our economy doesn't get as bad as down south. It's slowed out West here, but nothing compared to what ON and the Maritimes are facing. Good luck!

Not only is this happening in Canada but its going to happen alot more in the US and Canada. Its unfortunate. However if you are solidly employed there are going to be some outstanding bargains in the next 18 months or longer. I have decided to trade in my AMG on another Porsche in that time frame. Prices have dropped so much even in this last 6 months even Ferraris have come into the picture.
