10% Ethanol Blend
Is 10% Ethanol blend gas bad for our engines? I can't seem to find a single fuel station in Southeast Alabama that has "100%" gas, even the 2 local Chevron stations here only carry 93 Octane that "contains 10% or less Ethanol". Darn EPA hippies...

It is claimed to be 100% safe for automobiles but not so for boat motors. Florida went that route 2 years ago and the mileage on my MDX daily driver fell from 18 to 15. So much for saving fossil fuels.

yeah, same line of thought on all the hype about electric cars. Do the tree huggers realize that the electricity those vehicles will consume is still produced mostly at coal burning plants which emit tons more greenhouse gases and pollutants than those emitted from the fossil fuels similar cars will burn? Go figure...

I think it has more to do with the farm lobby than the tree huggers, but regardless. . .
it won't hurt your car, but you WILL see a reduction in gas mileage (and power, I presume) with the ethanol blend vs. 100% dinosaur. I have been looking for a station in Atlanta with 100% gas, but haven't been able to find one.
Hopefully someone will try to meet the market demand for unmolested gas.
