Hey Hughes-
Great story. The look on his face must've been priceless.![Confused](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/confused.gif)
Pretty sure that's gonna be my next upgrade for the car. I was thinking ECU but given the drama going on in a few other threads...noooo wayyyy. At least until the smoke clears. I have a V1 that I can't live without and haven't done enough research on shifters to know what I'm looking for.

All--
In retrospect, I think it was too early to post negative feedback on using the 9500ci in Pennsylvania. I got pulled over because:
* I was the lead car speeding in the left lane without a rabbit
* I was not vigilant enough in visual scanning for LEOs
* I was not wise to the Instant On threat and how to mitigate that risk
So I'll re-post once I've had at least 1 save to share how the 9500ci performed.

Gotta stay out of that left lane. Going to NC on Sunday, doing about 80 in a 55 though Coumbia, SC. Got in the right lane to pass a purple Kia luv-bug something or other with flowers painted all over it b/c she refused to move from the left lane. Coming over the hill, and a local cop hosed us both -- he pulled her over and let me go, even though I was going faster. I am sure he thought she was going faster b/c she was in the passing lane.
A little sorry for her but not much -- she was still speeding and if she wasn't paying attention. If she had been, she would have moved over and I would have been saying hello to the cop.

I'm assuming you received the ticket on 79/279/76? Which one and where at exactly so I can look out? I've noticed alot of State Troopers sitting right above the 79/279 split below Rt 910

Hello all.
Today I picked up my C63 after being in the shop for the 9500 ci install. I've only driven it 10 miles since, so I'll update this thread when I have experience with its capabilities.
Another memeber recommended the display to be installed in the ash tray in order to help conceal in the hopefully unlikely event one is pulled over. I had them angle it toward me and up for easy viewing.
Pics are below.

Update
Today I had 2 great saves with my 9500ci !!!
The first save was in the exact same spot where I got nailed just last week. But this time, I was following a rabbit and had full warning >300 yards from where the LEO was hiding. The second was rather amazing. I was on the interstate, but the LEO was hiding on an onramp way back shooting with traffic flow. No way I would have seen him without the 9500ci. Had plenty of warning. Had to wring my neck back 180 degrees to see behind me and up where he was lurking.
So, down 1, up 2, means positive territory. Hoping to keep it that way with smarter use of rabbits (especially with this I/O radar we have around here).
By the way, now that I'm quite convinced in the benefits of the 9500ci, if anyone is interested, PM me and I'll put you in touch with my sales rep at my local MB dealer where they just became authorized resellers and installers. I was the 2nd one they did and the one prior was on an SLR. These guys are very, very good. This would be for anyone in driving distance of Pittsburgh, PA.
