The dealers network in The GCC (Gulf Corporation Counsel) which includes Saudi Arabia, UAE, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar and Bahrain have specified their cars with certain standard equipments that otherwise are "Options" in other countries. Hence, the Gulf Specs term. It varies, like for example a Gulf Specs Cayenne comes with a standard 4 zone climate control, sun roof, etc. A Gulf Specs 911 comes with A/C, parking sensors, etc, etc.
Cars that are specified as a Gulf Specs do NOT come with modified units (radiator, fans, A/Cs, etc). They simply come with standard options that you would probably require to specify individually in other countries.
Most car companies, including Porsche have only 2 lines of assembly. USA specs & rest of the world specs. Thats it!
I posted this information just to make it clear for those hows asking what is Gulf Spec. and let us just go back to the subject, we had enough of history.
