Can oil be extracted from the oil dipstick tube in a 63 engine as with other MB engines ? Has anyone had on oil change done this way in their 63?

I believe I read a thread on that a month ago or so, and someone had indeed done it that way.

Oil can be drained via the dipstick tube but for this engine MB reccommend draining as the oil cooler is supposed to be drained aswell. You wiil require 2 drain plug washers.

Note to all who have a dealer service: If you don't have 2 drain plug washer on your invoice, ask why they didn't change to oil as per MB recommendations

Drain via the dipstick with a good oil vacuum works fine. I drained my C63 to within .1 liter of capacity this way when I did my last oil change.
