i did it the way xiaobingan suggested.

My dad's c63 was scraping on the driveway too, and now we've plated 2 fat pieces of metal to raise the driveway and now its fine.
looks a bit ugly, but its better than a scratched c63....

Heres my driveway...

From my understanding, your scraping should be the same as what my dad's c63 is, scratching on the bottom in the middle of the exhaust right??

If so, this will clear it.
Previously, it scraped every time going in and out, but with this setup, it clears it by a whole 1-2cm.

Hope that helped

You might want to check your tire pressure and add some air.

I don't think increasing your tire pressure will increase the height by 1cm or more unless its really low or flat!!
Talking about tire pressure, what is it meant to be at approximately anyway??

This should work. used to drive a 93 300Z that was pretty low and never had problems with monster speed bumps and curbs by approaching at angles so one wheel contacts/leaves the elevated surface at a time. Applies to front/back and forward/reverse.

One centimeter is very minimal, you would be surprised if your tires were under serviced and brought your pressure back to limitations what it will bring.

GRIOTS Garage has a heavy rubber strip for this exact application. IT spans the entire width of the curb Check it out it may be what you need.

Best solution here yet.

That or you keep those 2 ugly construction metal plates at the foot of your driveway forever.

the angle method works if the driveway is wide enough.

If u look at my 1st photo, its not quite wide enough so can't do that
Tried that and failed... badly ><

Had an M3 and had the same issue. Works fine going with an angle. Just mind that the sides of the front bumper are also low, so don't go too fast or they will scratch.

I had the same problem with my M3. When I entered my driveway from the strret I kept bottoming out my car. I called my township to complain and they came and patched the asphalt (raised it up) and my problem was solved all free of cost. I would try calling your local Public Works department.
