I recently bought a 2010 E 63 AMG. I'm mad because Engine Badge plaque is missing! I don't know if someone stole it or is just missing.... Has anyone run across this issue before?
Does anyone know how else I can find the name of the engineer who built the motor or how to get a new engine badge?

Dealer can order them from your VIN, heard they take a while to get but people have done it in the past.

Email amg-parts@daimler.com if your having issues, this was their response when I emailed them.
We checked back with the AMG parts department. Your MB dealership should be able to order specific engine builder plaques. Please advice your parts manager to contact our team at amg-parts@daimler.com to order a replacement plaque.
Joachim Schmidt built both my CLK Black and SL65. What's really interesting is the current MBZ VP Sales and Marketing has the same name. Either it's a different guy, or that mechanic got a hell of a promotion.
Hey ThatBlackC63, Zero problems and it's a beast. The ultimate car for me. I always had in mind I would build a large block American coupe like this, but I'm glad I didn't bother. I had a 5.0 notch back Mustang that I loved, and it was pretty potent, but it wasn't even close.
