Tint pics -
im undecided on what tint shade to go - 50% or 35%
I previously had 50 and 35 and I liked both - I personally like really light tints but Im also going with the light (sahara beige) interior
can guys who have had their C63's tinted post some pics in different lighting if they have them?

I am in Florida, so I don’t have to deal with those tint laws, I am from NY though so I know all about the cops being a$$’s about it. They are very lenient down here. I agree that most people will think it’s too dark, I did too at first, but it grew on me and I love it. I also agree that it goes better with the white than it would with black. I would go with 35% all around, I have it on my windshield, it’s not too dark at all.

I have a few crappy pics at dusk of 50% Johnson Window Film. I think it looks good on a darker color like steel grey, plus I dont worry about cops.... When I raise the rear sunshade, it looks darker in the car so I like that.

If you are going just for the look, then I would really consider 35%, especially since you are going with a light interior. I have 35% with black interior and kinda wish I would have gone 15%. Actually I wanted something around 20%-25% but they don't have that in the F1 Pinnacle
I think my tint looks too light in most condtions, and pictures usually make it look darker than it does in real life. Considering that even with 35% it sometimes looks like there is a very light tint, I would imagine 50% would seem like no tint in a lot of conditions, and would be the choice for those who wanted function over looks.

I will try to get a pic of the 50% tomorrow/Tuesday in the sunlight....
Agree that with a grey or sand interior, you might want to go a little darker...
Tint brand and type will probably make a difference. Do you know what brand you're going with? My installer was awesome but I'm in SoCal.

i've just always preferred it to be really light for some reason

I personally think there is no point in getting 50% tints, why bother spending the money on that. It will BARELY be tinted and you will be able to see right through to the inside.
Isn’t the purpose of tints to prevent that? I guess some people have different reasons for getting them, but don’t waste your money on 50%. Just my advice, the lightest you should go with is 35% IMO...

Some local place who's done a good amount of work for a friend of mine is asking for $300. Although I trust this will be an awesome job, $300 is way too pricey.
Looks like I have some shopping to do.

i went with 50% all around and love it - i park inside and dont drive daily so 50% protections is good enough for me -
plus at night the 35 would be much darker than i prefer
