Could the C63 be a victim of its own success?

When you go fast enough in a C63 it can actually appear to outside observers that you are in more than one place at the same time. Maybe that's what you are observing - nothing more just a single vehicle traveling at near plaid speeds

Okay, after going out for a nice highway cruise with some friends in GT-Rs, M3s, and other AMGs, I don't care if the C63s continue to proliferate. This is an awesome car and I absolutely love it!

I just saw Elvis driving a C63!
You know in ten years that's what it will be like. With the move away from big V8's in the very near future, and some of the current cars ending in a pile of scrap metal due to incompetent drivers. The C63 will be remember in time as a great car you cant get anymore...IMO. Since every manufacturer is moving to more efficient cars, the days of Big V8's is coming to an end. So enjoy your cars while you still can. ![thumbs](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
I have heard that the New E....(might) be the last MB to get the 6.2 in it. I think that's one reason MB has made such a car at such a price. Knowing they will be moving in a new direction. So it may seem less and less rare now but in time it will be rare again.

Someone also mentioned about the lack of seeing any C55s. I do not see many here in Vegas. I saw and met one guy who bought one and immediately sent it out to Kleemann for the SC package and a friend of mine still has one. There are only a few C32s running around also. Vegas seems to have more M3s (E46/E90) than C-Class based AMGs. Go figure....

True. Kind of like the 500E of the 90's (I think that is when the car came out).

The decision is clearly goes to M3.
I would pick E46 M3 over E9x M3 even they are priced the same.

One with 4 wheels
In Houston I see E46 and E92 M3's almost by the dozen, on a daily basis.
I rarely ever see C32's, C55's, and have only seen a couple C63's here.
And no offense, but I've always hated M3's. Not the car, per say, but the insufferable attitude of M3 drivers.

Sometimes it's not always about what's better.

Just last weekend i saw 3 C63s in one day! Its funny how we gawk at each other to see what they look like on the road from teh outside. Whenever i see one i follow it round, no matter what i was supposed to be doing, to hear the engine![naughty](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/naughty.gif)
I see far more M3s though ....and remain unimpressed....
