Command's Bluetooth Interface
Has there been a fix for the Command Bluetooth interface as yet?
I have been trying to find a fix to connect my Samsung Omnia to the handsfree kit for some time now, but no luck![nix](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/nixweiss.gif)
Do you guys have problems connecting windows mobile6 phones to the Command system, eg: Blackberry, Samsung Omnia, etc...
I remember seeing a bluetooth adapter on the MB website, but dont see it there anymore.![Confused](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/confused.gif)
Any advice would be appreciated.

I use a Sony Xperia X1a which runs Windows Mobile 6.1- seems to connect with no problems i.e. able to dial and make phone calls. Cannot get the address book connected this way via bluetooth but have exported from my outlook address book to a SD card and loaded it via a PCMCIA SD card adaptor to the car's hard drive.

It took me some time to connect my 3G iphone to the car via BT. Try start the engine first and then try connecting it.
I have try at least 25+ times connecting it to the car, with no success, but when I give up and decided to start the car and drive off, I try it one more time with the engine on, in 15 seconds it found the iphone and ask for pairing confirmation.![EEK!](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/eek.gif)
Worth a try, but then again may be just luck.

my Palm 755P connects without too much difficulty, just have to get the code punched in correctly. It usually takes a few trys, but I suspect it is the phones' issue not the cars.
Make sure your Bluetooth is set to "discoverable or visible".
I have not done the contact load since i have 4300+ contacts (business) I would have to convert to load. I don't think I can inport the PST file directly from Outlook, that would be easy.

I think the passcode is "MBUSA" spelling that via the phone keys. i don't have a phone in front of me so I don't know the numbers that correspond to those letters.

I had this problem with my blackberry at first too, You are just doing it wrong. It wouldnt find the phone automatically when I searched for a device. The password doesnt matter you have to set it up externally on the NAV (this feature is located under options) and the phohne must be set to send/recieve to bluetooth devices (with some phones you much manually activate this feature).

The numbers they correspond too is 62872.
Heres a helpfull link that helped me pair up my new c class bluetooth.
This site also has links to other Mercedes Bluetooth pairing procedures.

yeah... i could choose the passcode I wanted to. Only problem is that I had to type it really fast (or the MB bluetooth would time out). I paired both iPhone and Treo.
